The vines looked great even during the drought weeks. The skin will grow stronger and also they will be ready by day 10. I just left mine in one of my cloth grow bags, not even cleaned til after the 10 days. Did you grow yours in the ground or pots?Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01820620696067652430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4801701223883172850.post-31986628554967777812018-09-23T18:05:55.971-04:002018-09-23T18:05:55.971-04:00Your garden has produced a wonderful crop of such ...Your garden has produced a wonderful crop of such a variety of things. I use sweet potato in place of potato - to which I react badly. The only dishes it doesn't substitute well in, to my taste, are fish recipes (fish pie etc) as it is too sweet. Love them! Baked, roasted, mashed, layered. Just YUM!<br />Virginiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06864657381173674455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4801701223883172850.post-53122775263824870272018-09-23T17:48:55.697-04:002018-09-23T17:48:55.697-04:00the esty link did not go through.....

I love sweet potato...So pleased to read about Dave. I love sweet potatoes, we call them Kumara here in New Zealand and we have gold, red and orange. They make a delicious soup, I often roast the kumara along with carrot, pumpkin and parsnip then blitz the whole lot with a chicken stock and heat like crazy, a bowl of this and crusty bread makes a super meal.Mystic Quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13233427034920359604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4801701223883172850.post-23265109180588434182018-09-23T12:03:57.240-04:002018-09-23T12:03:57.240-04:00Oh, yum!
