That would be me...the house closing was easy peasy and done in 40 minutes. Immediately went to the bank and then to Home Depot where we got 8 different hydgrangea plants. Putting down roots asap.
I am singing We're in the money, and Celebration, and Roll out the Barrel, and for good measure the Hallelujah Chorus.
Happy day...congrats! Hope the builder coughs up the reimbursement for the water fix.
ReplyDeleteYAY! Excellent news Melody! Celebration dinner tonight?
ReplyDeletePleased that al is settled for you and now you can both settle down properly in your new place and Im betting you'll soon have a beautiful garden.
ReplyDeleteAnd tomorrow is May day!!!!! Flowers flowers flowers everywhere.
ReplyDeleteGreat Ending to the Saga. Be happy!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI’m so glad you made a nice profit on your house. 8 different hydrangeas? Heavenly. I envy you as I can’t get hydrangeas to grow decent in my yard. Don’t tell me you’ll also be planting wisteria or I will simply cry.
ReplyDeleteWill this fund the new yardwork? Maybe some left over for some cool patio furniture and an awesome grill.
Congratulation Happy gardening
ReplyDeleteHooray! Must be so good to have the house sold and off your mind. Looking forward to lots of new-house-interior shots, and of course gardens! Yay!
ReplyDeleteHad to laugh. Came here to comment, and Hilary (first post) used exactly the expression I was going to use: 'cough up'. Hope the builders do the right thing and pay back at least some of the money you had to spend fixing their oversight.
Congrats on that huge weight off your shoulders, you must be over the moon. Exhale and dig in to your new home.
ReplyDeleteHome sweet forever home - perhaps? Keep on posting pictures of the yard work being done....lots of inspiration channeled thru the pictures
