I chose polymer clay colors in gold, and copper and used a gold pin instead of silver.
On another note, I picked up my spray bottle to mist my fabric on yesterday's shirt, and this happened:
Yes, that is bleach! Turns out our wonderful April used the spray bottle which she filled with bleach water to whiten up my laundry, which is so kind of her, since I didn't ask her to do laundry. So this piece was to be a facing on the shirt I was going to be sewing today. No biggie. I will go to WM and get more of this fabric. By the way, the laundry looks so white!!

Oh, wowsie! I'm sure with your creative brain you'll come up with a brillant project to use that bleached fabric.
ReplyDeleteMy winter coat is a long red wool. I also have a rain jacket that is hot pink, reversible with a floral lining. Granted the background is a greige but the flowers are blue and pink, so the mittens and hat are pink. While I'm not much of neutrals person if I have a choice, I do like those colors. Very Fall colors. Like the greens, blues and purples. If that fabric is just the facing, why bother to replace it? Isn't this sorta a practice shirt?
