Block making has taken over my focus. I just want to make blocks and use up the scraps I have collected. Eventually they will become a quilt, but just making them is enough to keep my interest up.
I love the riot of colour in your studio - wish I could pop along your street and visit. Your blocks are wonderful and a great way to use up those small pieces of fabric.
When I don't have a specific project in mind, but I need to sew,I just make blocks(string blocks, crumb blocks, wonky star blocks) and eventually I have enough to make some kind of quilt.Enjoy your sewing time. Julie ps. I have to say, though,no matter how many times I get out my bags of scraps and no matter how many blocks I make,I never seem to make a dent in my stash....go figure!
I love all your beautiful bright scraps. I've been cleaning and sorting and I seem to have a lot of "dull" colors...I plan to change that!

ReplyDeleteSo much beautiful color! I'm starting scrap blocks, too, sewing together whatever looks good. Such a fun and freeing way to work!
