I am so ready to have this election over and done with. We voted early (October) on paper ballots marked with black felt tip pens. We live in a state that requires photo ids and our voter registration cards, making it pretty hard to cheat, not that we wanted to! ha! The ballots were handed to us in a folder and were inserted into a machine after marking them. The polling place was very crowded on the day we voted, so we decided to come back later and we voted very quickly then. I am praying that this will be a peaceful transition of power, with the country coming together to build a great future.

ReplyDeleteLet's hope!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm watching Star Talk on HULU right now. (subject: Time Travel.) When it's over, I'm changing my clothes and heading to the polls.
ReplyDeleteI only hope that the election really will be over today.
Voted Absentee (Fl resident, part time in NC)two weeks ago. I kind of miss going to the polls, though. The worst part about this election (and there were many bad parts) was having to watch endless political ads in a state I cant even vote in !!!!!
ReplyDeleteIn Washington state all ballots are mail-in, so I got to vote two weeks ago. Isn't it glorious to be able to vote?
