I don't know why I asked if its recent! Lol. (I'm pretty sure it isn't, if only because of the hair color)! I don't think I've seen Hot Flash before. Is it in a private collection? It's amazing...as are all your pieces.
Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful video and for sharing your process, you have inspired me through your blog for quite a few years now, it really changed my life.
Lovely to hear your voice... so warm and confident at the same time. Interesting too that you are just now adding beige and browns, me too, although you are the artist - I'm still quite the traditional quilter. Thanks for sharing the video! I did enjoy it. Hugs
Love to hear about your processes and thinking! You have done an incredible body of work, and yet every thing I see of yours is fresh and new... never seems like a re-hash of other work, although I know you have done custom pieces based on other pieces in your portfolio. Thanks so much for sharing the video!
SEW glad you didn't follow thru with painting Melody - your art quilts and knitting and fabrics you dye are ALL wonderful...and creative...and unique...thank you for being a great influence to us all.
OMG,as they say! I just watched this last week. I keep a stack of quilting DVDs next to my treadmill and recycle through them on a regular basis. I've watched this at least a dozen times and always find myself inspired even though its an old DVD. Julie
Melody, what a great video. You have inspired so many of us over these many years. Thank you for sharing your life's work with us and gently nudging us to the creative juices flowing.
I know this isn't current, but I'm in awe of the glow you create even when using "quieter" colors!! Thank you for sharing so freely with the rest of us. My second "art" non-pieced quilt began today. (the first was only a couple of weeks ago, I might be starting a trend ~ ~ ~ ) Keep challenging and inspiring us as we travel this adventure called L I F E :)
I love this video! Is it recent?
