Pullover Tunic

At last I have found the pattern that I have been searching for lo these many months. So simple yet, it has to fit right and that has been the issue. Full enough in the bust and arms, yet not a blob when I am wearing it. This is the pattern.
A pullover design that has two-piece raglan sleeves in the short sleeve version and in the long sleeve, one piece with a should dart.
It was super easy to sew, and fast. I was done in 1.25 hours.
Bias binding on the neck so no facings to deal with, yay!
My plan was to find a basic pattern from which I could do multiple designs. These are some of the variations I want to make.
It will work both as a shirt, t-shirt, tunic and dress.

So happy to have found IT! And add to that it is finally really raining. What a great day.

  1. As a former Home Ec major, i appreciate the raglan sleeve and modest coverage this pattern affords.
That it fits and can be made in well under 2 hours, priceless. i hope you all had a fine 4th of July.

  2. I can't wait to see how your variations turn out-it looks like a winner! I always have enjoyed making my own clothes, but finding a good pattern as well as nice fabric is hard.

  3. Oh my goodness, I bought that same black and white fabric just last week for a blouse! Now I know which pattern to use for it!
