Pam, Hi ! I mount the watercolor paper on the panel first and then paint everything and then mount the quilt on the top of that. The paper receives the paint so nicely that I am happier with the finished product, over just painting the wood panel. I use gel medium as my glue and cut the paper after it is adhered.
Hello Melody, Like your quilts very much, the colours, the patterns, every time when you begin a new series they look different, you renew yourself. You are a true expert! But I miss your updates about the garden, the pugs, paintings, nitting, the home decoration and even about your husband :-) (Sorry for my bad English). Greetings from the Netherlands, Martine
