More triangles

I am having a triangle moment. This scarf combines slip stitches with nubs and stockinette and is made with merino sock yarns, many of which are my hand dyed. It was knit while watching the run up to the mid-term elections and was finished the glorious morning after. Needless to say, I was doing the happy dance.

I've also dyed up a new yarn called Yamhill which is a plumper fingering, merino/nylon blend at a wonderful price from Wool2dye4.com. It comes in 115 gram hanks which works out to 439 yards.

The speckled yarn in the middle was a mini triumph. I am very happy with it. Also I discovered something with that red/black hank. When it was being washed out it continually bled out and it never stopped. So...I put it in a new bath with more citric acid, microwaved it again and then washed it out. No BLEEDING. It just needed a boost of the acid. Yay! I can use it without fear that it will stain other colors. Phew!
