If I decide to quilt as I go, and that is a big if, I will sew three sets of four and quilt those before going on to the second and third sets. Or I might seek out a long arm quilter locally and see what it will cost to have this finished for me.
The fun I am having is in knowing I am reducing the amount of scraps I have collected. But isn't it true that they reproduce overnight? I can't really see much of a reduction in the three bins I have sitting out. Hmmm.

that's because you fluffed up the scraps.but the good news is you can make lots more blocks!
ReplyDeleteThe blocks are looking good but I'm convinced that somehow scraps have found the secret of eternal life... they never seem to go away... but it is fun to play with them. happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteLOL! But I have noticed a slight reduction in my stash over the past few months... mainly because I have been working hard at using as much as I can! Coiled bowls, covered note pads & composition books, a paper pieced strip quilted art quilt... and I have been working really hard at N O T buying new fabric until I have made a dramatic dent in the stash! Love your squares, and can't wait until you have assembled them!
ReplyDeleteI love these blocks! What great idea for using up scraps in a super size block.
ReplyDeleteLots of Kaffe Fassett fabric there - love it. Corinne
